In the beginning, there were air, water, ground, and sea. Then there arose vast vegetation, diverse species, and a significant abundance of minerals and petroleum. Finally, humanity born.
Human beings began relying on the gifts of nature to thrive and develop their own civilization. However, over time, what began as controlled 'borrowing' transformed into endless plundering. Despite calls from some groups for the protection and compensation of nature, the harm inflicted by humans on the natural environment and other species continues to escalate.
As the symbiotic balance is disrupted, what kind of future awaits us? I am uncertain whether the tide of human behavior will ultimately impact the entirety of nature, and whether nature possesses an unlimited capacity for self-repair. Yet, before such a future arrives, the first casualty will undoubtedly be human civilization.
